An echo in the darkness was exceptional. I loved the setting and the character development. It portrayed that no matter how dirty you are few simple words can cause your justification. It answered a lot of questions relating to faith. However I think the writer played it safe with Marcus and didn't really answer the question he always asked "why does a loving God cause his people harm?"- paraphrased.

The book was really a blessing. Taught me the impact one live can make on a whole family even after death. I'm grateful I read it.
